Neighbouring the new Lillian Osborne High School, and part of a larger development plan that includes additional schools and facilities, the Southwest Recreation Centre houses many of the communities recreation facilities and programs in the growing southwest corner of Edmonton. Under the management of Stuart Olson, the SWRC was registered to achieve LEED® standards. Baytek constructed both phases of the complex (recreation centre and arena complex).
